PBOC's Zhang Tao Tapped for IMF Nomination

(Beijing) – The Chinese government has planned to nominate a newly promoted People's Bank of China official and former International Monetary Fund executive to succeed Zhu Min as the nation's leading voice at the IMF, central bank sources told Caixin.
The sources, who declined to be named because they're not allowed to comment on the matter, said the central government wants Zhang Tao to assume the IMF deputy managing director post after Zhu's term ends in July.
