Inbound Investment from ASEAN Drops 57 Pct. to 1.87 Bln Yuan in June

(Beijing) – Inbound foreign investment in the first six months rose 5 percent to over 440 billion yuan, or about US$ 70 billion year on year, despite a sharp drop in money flowing in from countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in June, the Ministry of Commerce said.
Foreign direct investment from ASEAN fell 57 percent year on year to 1.87 billion yuan in June, the commerce ministry said on July 19.
