China's Commerce Ministry Hits Out at 'Protectionism' in Europe and Australia

(Beijing) – The Ministry of Commerce on Monday raised a red flag over what it called protectionist moves from two major trading partners – Australia and the Europe Union.

"It is a pity to see that the EU has imposed anti-dumping tariffs against Chinese steel exports, which is an unfair and unreasonable move triggered by protectionism," said Shen Danyang, the ministry spokesperson on August 17.
