Chinese Students in U.S. Get Up-close Look at Presidential Politics

(New York) — The first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was not widely available in China, with state-controlled mainstream media outlets offering little coverage.

But Chinese students at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, where the event was held Monday night, were able to follow the debate firsthand for rare insight into U.S. politics and its impact on China-US relations.
