Duck Snack Maker Zhou Hei Ya to Make a Splash with $426m HK IPO

(Hong Kong) — Zhou Hei Ya International Holdings Co. Ltd, known in China for selling spicy braised duck necks, could raise as much as HK$3.3 billion ($426 million) in a planned Hong Kong IPO on Nov. 11.

The 424 million shares on offer will be priced within an indicative range of HK$5.80 to HK$7.80, the company said at a press conference on Monday.

A big name in the domestic snack food market but virtually unknown outside of China, Zhou Hei Ya hopes to expand into the international market using the Hong Kong listing as a launch pad, Executive Director Hao Lixiao said. Hao did not provide details of specific expansion plans.
