Career Highlights of China’s Seven Top Leaders

The seven members of the new Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) were introduced on Oct. 25. Retaining seats on the nation's highest political body were Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang, who have served as China's president and premier, respectively, for the past five years. Each of the other members is new to the committee. Here are a few career highlights for each member of the new party leadership, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
