Chart: Two of China’s Big Four Banks Report Profit Growth

The first of China’s big-four state-owned banks released their earnings on Tuesday, with Bank of China’s second-quarter profit up 5.3% at 60 billion yuan ($8.8 billion).

Rival Agricultural Bank of China’s profit rose 7.9% to 57 billion yuan for the same period.
