Mercedes-Benz said it will suspend operations of the dealership that kicked off a viral scandal over dubious “financial fees” at China auto dealerships, the company said Tuesday.
The dealership in the northwestern city of Xi’an will close until Mercedes-Benz concludes an investigation into its practices.
The company said it will review its dealerships nationwide to ensure their business operations abide by Chinese law.
