The Gaokao Exam Under the Pandemic: Volunteer Drivers in Guangzhou

After fighting the new wave of Covid-19 pandemic for over a fortnight, the city of Guangzhou faced the challenge of "gaokao," China's annual National College Entrance Examination . To safeguard the exam for the 55,000 test-takers this year, nearly 500 taxi drivers united to volunteer to transport the candidates to their destinations.
