Baidu teases metaverse app

Search giant Baidu Inc. has teased the launch of a metaverse app on Dec. 27, which it said will allow users to create avatars to attend meetings, buy goods and visit exhibitions in virtual shared environments using their smartphone, PC or wearable device.
