New Drug Rules Loom Over Online Pharmacies

China’s top medical products regulator is soliciting public feedback on draft rules that could impact the health care service businesses of e-commerce giants like JD.com and Alibaba.

The health care industry is this week digesting a revised draft of the Implementation Regulations on the Drug Administration Law released Monday by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), which adds 101 articles to the 80 already in effect.
