BYD in talks to sell batteries to Tesla, exec says

Hong Kong-listed shares of Warren Buffett-backed automaker BYD Co. Ltd. surged on Wednesday after its Executive Vice President Lian Yubo told state media the company is set to sell its own batteries to Tesla Inc.
