Beijing’s Covid-19 Flare-Up Produces No Severe Cases

Beijing recorded no severe or critical cases among the nearly 400 confirmed Covid-19 patients in a flare-up that started in early June, the capital city’s public health authority said Monday.
As of 3 p.m. Monday, the city of nearly 22 million registered 377 Covid-19 infections since the outbreak started June 9, officials from the Beijing Health Commission said in a regular briefing. Among confirmed patients, 97.1% showed no symptoms or mild symptoms while 2.9% had moderate symptoms, the authority said. No severe or critical cases were reported.
