HKEX Mulls Speeding Up Reviews for Homecoming Listings

The threatened delisting of Chinese companies from American exchanges is an opportunity for Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will consider speeding up reviews for their listing on the city’s bourse, the exchange’s chairwoman said.

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) welcomes more listings of Chinese mainland companies, but the exchange won’t lower its standards for companies exiting the U.S., Chairwoman Laura Cha Shih May-lung said Wednesday at an event at Hong Kong University.
