Covid-19 continues without end so far and the battle between Russia and Ukraine is not yet approaching its end game. The relationships among major powers are undergoing profound changes while the world has been struck by frequent extreme weather events and the rise of anti-globalization. In the midst of changes unseen in a century, if people continue to condone zero-sum logic, protectionism and populism, the economic and social progress achieved through technological advancement and global cooperation will probably suffer severe setbacks. Thus, all countries urgently need to put aside their prejudices and reclaim the spirit of cooperation.
