Nio ramps up capacity for possible supply challenges

Nio Inc. CEO William Li said on Sunday that the Chinese electric-vehicle startup is proactively storing more components, increasing orders from chipmakers and exchanging semiconductors with other automakers, as part of efforts to deal with possible supply challenges in the first half of 2023.
