Singapore’s CapitaLand Investment Launches $746 Million China Data Center Fund

(DealStreetAsia) — Singapore-based global real estate investment manager CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) has established CapitaLand China Data Centre Partners (CDCP), a S$1 billion ($746 million) fund that will invest in hyperscale data centers in Greater Beijing.

In an announcement, CLI said the fund, which has a total equity commitment of S$530 million, will invest in two hyperscale data center development projects in Beijing. Existing and new global investors hold an 80% stake in the fund while CLI takes the remaining 20%.
