China’s Yahua and LG Energy to Produce EV Battery Materials in Morocco

Chinese lithium compound manufacturer Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group Co. Ltd. formed a partnership with South Korea’s LG Energy Solution Ltd. to produce lithium materials in Morocco that will be acceptable in the American and European markets.

The companies didn’t disclose specifics of the partnership. Yahua told Caixin that details are still under negotiation.
