Authorities have hauled in 12 people for questioning over a Beijing hospital fire on Tuesday that has left 29 dead. Public anger has swirled over the incident, seen as the capital’s deadliest blaze in recent years.

Key administrators of Changfeng Hospital in Beijing’s Fengtai district have been detained, including a president and a vice president, said Sun Haitao, an official with the municipal public security bureau, during a Wednesday press conference.
