In late March, long queues of trucks carrying goods could be seen waiting to enter the warehouse area of the dry port in the eastern Chinese city of Yiwu. Meanwhile, at the Yiwu seaport, an average of around 800 container trucks per day passed through customs since the beginning of March, twice that of the previous month, state broadcaster CCTV reported on March 21, citing an official with the local customs administration.
