China’s Real Estate Recession Ends With First Growth in Over a Year

(Bloomberg) — China’s property industry rebounded for the first time in more than a year, and the government said it will take more steps to encourage consumption, adding to optimism about the economy’s outlook.
The real estate sector grew 1.3% in January-March from a year earlier, according to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data released Wednesday.
