Huawei Creates Its Own Business Software to Replace Oracle’s

(Bloomberg) — Huawei Technologies Co. developed enterprise IT management software that can replace Oracle Corp.’s, taking another step toward reducing its reliance on U.S. tech.
The telecom gear maker, which can’t use American technology without a license, is developing in-house software and chips to shake off the effects of being placed on a U.S. trade blacklist. It’s replaced its legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with a solution over which it “has full control,” Huawei said Thursday in a statement.
