Tesla Inc. has opened a portion of its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure on the Chinese mainland to other brands as its competitors race to build up their own networks.

The U.S. carmaker has made 10 supercharging stations in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as 120 destination charging stations in the country, available to 37 EV models produced by its competitors, Tesla said in a Tuesday statement.
