TikTok’s Head of U.S. User Safety to Depart Amid Rising Pressure

(Bloomberg) — One of TikTok’s most senior officials in charge of ensuring user safety is leaving the company amid rising pressure for the U.S. government to ban the popular video-sharing app.
Eric Han, who led TikTok’s U.S. trust and safety operations for years, will depart this month, a person briefed on the matter said. Han was promoted in December to lead trust and safety at the company’s newly walled-off U.S. data operations.
