Chinese Battery Makers Grab More Share Overseas

What’s new: Chinese battery makers are gaining on South Korean rivals in markets outside China, expanding their market share by 6 percentage points in the first quarter, according to South Korea-based SNE Research.

Mainstream Chinese battery makers supplied 29.6% of batteries used for electric vehicles in non-China markets in the first three months, SNE Research data showed Monday.
