Zhu Shaoming, a former general manager of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co. Ltd., is under investigation by the nation’s top graft buster as an anti-corruption campaign sweeps China’s state tobacco monopoly.

The Yunnan tobacco operation is the largest provincial subsidiary of China National Tobacco Corp. (China Tobacco). Zhu, who left the company more than four years ago, is being investigated “on suspicion of serious violation in law and discipline,” the Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in a brief statement.
