China, Pakistan and Iran Hold First Trilateral Counterterrorism Meeting

What’s new: China, Pakistan and Iran held their first trilateral meeting on counterterrorism in Beijing on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The three sides had “an in-depth exchange of views on the regional counterterrorism situation and joint efforts to combat cross-border terrorists,” the statement said. They also agreed to establish a regular framework for trilateral security dialogue.
