Exclusive: State Insurance Giant China Life Names New Chief

China Life Insurance Co. Ltd., the publicly traded arm of China’s largest state-owned insurance heavyweight China Life Insurance Group, is getting a new chief, filling the position after one-month vacancy, Caixin learned.

Li Mingguang, vice president and chief actuary of China Life, was named Communist Party chief of the insurer and is set to take the helm as president after relevant procedures, sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin.
