Head of China’s Top Military Court Removed From Post After Just Eight Months

Cheng Dongfang, the president of the People’s Liberation Army’s Military Court, has been removed from his position after just eight months in office, according to China’s national legislature.
The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) voted on a group of personnel changes, including the removal of Cheng, it said in a statement without elaborating, after a Friday meeting in Beijing.
