China Criminal Code Amendments Part of Five-Year Legislative Plan

What’s new: China’s top legislature has released a 130-item legislative plan for the next five years, state-owned Xinhua News Agency reported, including revisions to the criminal code, as the government seeks to enshrine more tools of national governance into law.

The 130 proposed projects include drafting of new laws and amendments to existing laws, according to the list released Friday.
