Chinese Premier Meets Biden at G20

What’s new: Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with U.S. President Joe Biden at the Group of 20 summit in New Delhi over the weekend, the Chinese foreign ministry confirmed, in the highest-level meeting between the governments this year as they work to mend relations.

Li told Biden that China’s development brings opportunities rather than challenges to the U.S., and the two countries should strengthen exchanges, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a regular briefing on Monday.
