CSRC Names Chen Huaping to Fill Vice Chairman Vacancy

Chen Huaping was named a vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the commission said Wednesday.

Chen, 55, is transferred from a position as chairman of the board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange to fill a vacancy created by the December retirement of Zhao Zhengping. Zhao was CSRC vice chairman since 2016 overseeing investigations, futures and technology sector supervision.
