What’s new: One Chinese national was killed and another injured in a central Bangkok mall shooting Tuesday, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand has confirmed.

The embassy said in a statement that the victims’ identities have been confirmed, and the injured person was in stable condition at a hospital. Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has visited the injured victim, according to the statement.
