Liu Liange, the disgraced former chairman of state-owned Bank of China Ltd. (BOC), has been expelled from the Communist Party after being charged with using his position for a range of private perks, an official announcement shows.
Liu’s ill-gotten gains will be clawed back, China’s top anti-graft watchdog announced on Saturday, some six months after announcing the investigation into his activities.
