When it comes to renewable energy collaborations between China and its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) partners, solar is the runaway leader in growth, a new analysis shows.

Last year, 1,932 megawatts (MW) of solar power projects went into operation under the initiative, more than three times the figure in 2020 and nearly 10 times that of 2013, according to a report published Sunday by the People of Asia for Climate Solutions (PACS), a nonprofit based in Manila.
