Two former executives of state-owned China Railway Tunnel Group Co. Ltd. (CRTG) have been sentenced to prison by a Guangzhou court for bribing a disgraced former Singaporean official in what prosecutors there called the city-state’s “largest case of public sector corruption” in recent years.

Xi Zhengbing, a former general manager of CRTG’s Singapore branch, was sentenced to a five-year term for paying bribes to an unspecified number of foreign officials as well as accepting bribes from others in China, according to Tuesday’s verdict.
