Thunes Sets Up Digital Yuan Partnership With China Construction Bank

Thunes, a Singapore-based business-to-business payment infrastructure platform, formed a partnership with China Construction Bank to provide digital yuan-based cross-border payment systems for clients, the company said.

The collaboration will help China Construction Bank better support customers by working across currencies and borders, Thunes CEO Peter De Caluwe said. The systems will include accepting payments in digital yuan for exporters in cross-border e-commerce and making overseas remittances in digital yuan for individuals who study abroad, Thunes said.
