What’s new: Chinese flying-vehicle maker EHang Holdings Ltd. fired back at Hindenburg Research after the U.S. short seller accused it of fabricating preorders and failing to disclose restrictions on a government certificate signifying airworthiness.

EHang said Hindenburg’s report contained “untrue statements and misinterpretation of information” regarding its business operations and financial conditions, according to a company statement issued after the report’s release.
