Guangzhou Hospital Dismantles Lab After Cancer Diagnoses

What’s new: A cancer research center at Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou is closing a lab after three former doctoral students who worked there were diagnosed with cancer.

Several people at Sun Yat-Sen University, with which the hospital is affiliated, confirmed the development but didn’t say that the closure was related to the former Ph.D. students’ cancer cases.
