What’s new: Zhou Jun, vice chairman, president and CEO of state-owned investment holding conglomerate Shanghai Industrial Holdings Ltd., is under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation on suspicion of serious violations of law, the Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said Monday.
Three listed subsidiaries of Shanghai Industrial announced Monday in statements that Zhou resigned his positions at these units on Saturday due to “personal reasons.” Zhou’s resignation was due to personal matters that prevented him from devoting sufficient time to the performance of his duties, these units said.
