Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-shing repeatedly warned of looming economic headwinds as early as the start of 2021 and advised the companies in which Horizons Ventures invested to raise funds as soon as possible, the billionaire’s long-time partner Hoi Shuen Chau said.

Li, 95, has rarely appeared in public since he retired as chairman of CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd. in 2018, but his views on the economy are still closely followed.
