Du Haitao, a deputy general manager at ICBC Credit Suisse Asset Management Co. Ltd., has passed away, the company announced Thursday.

The 49-year-old died of a heart attack while running on Wednesday, sources with knowledge of the matter told Caixin.

Du was a veteran of the joint venture, having joined in 2006, a year after Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd. (ICBC) and former Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse Group AG formed the tie-up.
