President Xi Jinping has called for greater anti-corruption efforts in areas such as finance and pharmaceuticals, while urging the nation’s graft busters to prioritize the fight against collusion between government officials and businesspeople.

As the country’s wide-ranging anti-corruption campaign enters its 11th year, the problem remains “grave and complex,” Xi said when addressing a key plenary session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the country’s top graft watchdog, on Monday.
