During the three-day new year’s holiday at the start of January, China recorded more than 1.72 million inbound and outbound trips a day

China has issued a range of measures to make it easier for foreign nationals to enter the country for business, education and tourism, in the latest effort to draw more overseas visitors.

The National Immigration Administration (NIA) released a package of revised rules on Thursday that allow visa-free transit, simplify visa applications and expand the number of people who can apply for a visa on arrival.
