Delayed Receivable Payments Are a Threat to Small Businesses, Says Report

Delayed payments for goods or service that fall due after they are provided could be the first domino to topple Chinese small and micro businesses, China Academy of Financial Inclusion said Tuesday in a report.

The survey on nearly 2,400 small and micro enterprises found more than one third of small firms are financially unhealthy, and among those in the very unhealthy category, about 80% said they cannot get their account receivable payments in time.
