Chinese-branded electric vehicles (EVs) claimed four of the top five best-selling EVs in Thailand last year, underscoring Chinese automakers’ growing lead in the Southeast Asian country’s electrification push.

BYD Co. Ltd.’s (002594.SZ) two models, the Atto 3 SUV and Dolphin hatchback, took first and third place with sales of 19,214 and 9,410 units respectively in 2023, according to Autolife Thailand, a local automotive website.
