Aviage Systems Partners with Aerofugia Technology to Collaborate in eVTOL Development

What’s new: Aviage Systems, a joint venture between General Electric Co. and state-owned Aviation Industry Corp. of China Ltd., signed a memorandum of cooperation with Aerofugia Technology Co. Ltd. to collaborate on aviation kit design, system integration and airworthiness certification for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Aerofugia, a flying car developer backed by automaker Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. Ltd., is trying to obtain airworthiness clearance for its AE200, a manned five-seat eVTOL vehicle.
