(Bloomberg) — Asian stocks gained for a second day on Friday, fueled by the global rally in equities that’s seen markets from the U.S. to Europe and Japan hit all-time highs.

Australian, Taiwanese and South Korean equities advanced. Japanese markets were closed Friday for a public holiday. S&P futures hovered near all-time highs around 5,100 in the aftermath of Thursday’s powerful tech rally, while European contracts were steady.
