Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is mulling a relaunch of the first electric vehicle (EV) it co-developed with auto partner Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. this spring, a source familiar with the matter told Caixin, in a marketing gimmick possibly designed to boost consumer interest in the model that is grappling with supply chain and production woes.

The soon-to-be-unveiled Luxeed S7 will feature different specs from its original release in November, with its retail price expected to remain unchanged, the source said, without providing further details.
