Listen to the full version

What’s new: In the second week back after the Lunar New Year break, China’s IPO market still has no scheduled listings and no applicants cleared for stock exchanges’ review.
The lull follows a similarly subdued first week on Chinese mainland bourses.
As of Monday, there were nearly 400 IPO applicants waiting to be listed on mainland stock exchanges, according to Caixin calculations based on bourse data. Meanwhile, the number of IPO withdrawals hit more than 40 year-to-date. Last year, a total of 227 firms pulled listing applications.
